6.30 am - clothes fitting

The experience begins at our trusted costume rental shop in Siem Reap. Here, you’ll meet your photographer and be professionally fitted in authentic Khmer attire chosen to suit your style and preferences.

Traditional costume rental for 1 person is included in the package price. Guests may also choose optional hair styling ($5 per person) and professional makeup ($5 per person) to complete the traditional look before heading to Angkor Wat. The fitting process is relaxed and typically takes around 30–45 minutes, allowing plenty of time to prepare before the photoshoot begins.

Once everyone is ready, it’s time to head to Angkor Wat for the photoshoot. Your photographer will help ensure everything is prepared before departure, allowing the experience to run smoothly from start to finish.

Many guests choose to arrange their own transport using Grab or a local tuk tuk. For added convenience, we can also arrange private transport from your hotel to the costume rental shop, onward to Angkor Wat, and back to your hotel after the photoshoot.

With your traditional Khmer attire perfectly styled, the photoshoot begins at Angkor Wat. Your photographer will guide you throughout the session, helping with posing and creating beautiful images against the backdrop of one of the world’s most iconic temples.

Best Time for a Traditional Dress Photoshoot

Early morning is strongly recommended.

Temperatures rise quickly in Siem Reap, and traditional outfits are layered and not designed for tropical heat. A sunrise session allows for:
